ITINERARY

Market Tour

At 9:00 AM, before the cooking class begins, we’ll take you on a guided visit to the centrally located Market No. 1 in Surquillo, where we source our fresh ingredients. During the tour, we’ll introduce you to a wide variety of local produce, explain how these ingredients are used in Peruvian cuisine, and share cultural insights and culinary traditions along the way.

Fruit Tasting Experience

After approximately 45 minutes at the market, we’ll head to our cooking space, where a colorful fruit tasting awaits you.

You’ll have the opportunity to sample more than 40 different fruits, all grown in Peru. Many of these fruits are rarely found outside the country. Taste unique banana varieties, cactus fruits, citrus fruits, and exotic Amazonian specialties — and discover the incredible biodiversity Peru has to offer.

Cooking Class

Following the fruit tasting, it’s time to cook!

You’ll prepare a four-course Peruvian meal from scratch. We begin by teaching you how to make the iconic Pisco Sour. While you enjoy your cocktail, we’ll introduce the dishes you’ll be preparing and guide you step by step throughout the class.

We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Upon request, we can prepare vegetarian, vegan, nut-free, lactose-free, or dairy-free versions of the dishes. These variations are prepared alongside the standard menu.

Throughout the class, complimentary water is provided, and a refreshing homemade passion fruit drink is served with the meal.

Our Meals

(One menu per class)

Each class focuses on preparing one complete menu. Vegetarian variations can be made at the same time; however, we are unable to teach two entirely different menus in a single class.
