Huacachina Sandboarding & Ballestas Islands Tour

This tour will start with a boat trip around the Ballestas islands, home to sea lions, pelicans, Peruvian boobies and Humboldt penguins. You will also see the local rich marine life, as well as the Paracas Candelabra geoglyph, an enormous hillside etching of mysterious origins.

The tour then goes up a gear at the incredible La Huacachina Oasis, known as the “Oasis of America” – the perfect place for sandboarding and white-knuckle dune buggy rides on sand dunes that stretch several hundred feet high. This thrilling tour will transport you deep into the desert and guarantees exhilarating thrills!

ITINERARY

Early morning: A member of staff will pick you up from your hotel in Lima (providing hotel is in Central Lima, Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco) and take you to the Lima bus station for your bus trip to Ica.

07:30 a.m: A member of staff will pick you up from the Ica bus station and will take you to the port where the Ballestas Islands boat tour will depart from.

08:00 am: Ballestas Islands tour

10:00 am: Free time at the Paracas Boulevard

11:00 am: Transfer from Paracas to Ica

12:30 pm: Arrival at the Huacachina Oasis and free time to have lunch with a view of the Oasis

16:00 pm: Dune buggy tour and sandboarding in the Huacachina sand dunes

18:30 pm: Transportation to the Ica bus station. Ica – Lima return bus trip

Upon your arrival at Lima’s bus station, a member of staff will pick you up and take you to your hotel.
