Pachacamac Day Tour

A unique arqueological and mystical experience. A guided tour through the splendid Citadel of Pachacamac, The Sanctuary of God Pachacamac, Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachacamac and the Acllahuasi or Palace of the Virgins of the Sun. Our tour includes a visit to the traditional, bohemian district of Barranco.

9:00 am: Hotel pick up

We will drive to Pachacamac along the Pan-American highway. Pachacamac is located in the South East of Lima, approximately 19 miles (30km) away.

Pachacamac is an impressive and well preserved religious complex. During the tour, we will visit the Temples of the Sun and the Moon which are known to be the complex’s most striking areas. This construction is built entirely of clay and it is belived that about 50 million sun-dried bricks were used in the construction of the Temple of the Sun alone.

The tour is 3 hours long.
