Day 1: Arrival in Lima – Private Airport Transfer & Leisure Day

Welcome to Lima, Peru’s vibrant capital! Upon your arrival, you will be greeted at the airport by your private driver for a transfer to your hotel, where you can settle in and unwind after your journey.

The rest of the day is at your leisure, allowing you to relax and acclimate to the city at your own pace. Day 2: Private Lima City Tour & Larco Museum Experience

Discover the incredible variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, dried goods, meats, fish, seafood, and specialty products that make Peruvian cuisine so unique. Learn how to select the freshest ingredients for your cooking class and taste exotic fruits along the way.

 

At 10:10 AM, continue with a fruit tasting, sampling tropical flavors you may have never tried before. Then at 11:00 AM, step into your private cooking class, where you will prepare a 4-course menu of classic Peruvian dishes under the guidance of a professional chef. This hands-on experience allows you to bring the flavors of Peru to life while enjoying a fun and interactive day together.

Day 4: Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley

After breakfast, transfer to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, meet your private guide and continue directly into the Sacred Valley, enjoying the scenic drive through the Andean highlands as you begin to acclimate to the altitude.

 

Arrive at Sol y Luna Hotel in the afternoon and check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax, enjoy the hotel grounds, or rest after the journey.

Day 5: Private Sacred Valley tour 

Discover the beauty and history of the Sacred Valley of the Incas on this full-day cultural experience. We begin with hotel pickup at 8:30 AM, then travel to Pisac, home to an impressive archaeological complex perched high on a hillside. Here, you’ll explore remarkable Inca terraces and finely crafted temples that showcase the engineering mastery of the Incas.

 

Next, we visit the vibrant Pisac Artisan Market, one of the most famous markets in Peru, where you’ll find colorful handicrafts and local products. Around midday, enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley.

 

In the afternoon, we continue to Ollantaytambo, an ancient town known for its massive stone walls and original Inca canals, still in use today. Explore the imposing fortress, once the setting for important battles and sacred ceremonies.

Our final stop is Chinchero, a charming village featuring a beautiful main square, Inca foundations, colonial architecture, and breathtaking views of surrounding farmlands and snow-capped peaks of the Andes. We return to your hotel at around 5:00 PM, concluding an unforgettable journey through the Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Machu Picchu private tour 

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and transferred by private transportation to the Ollantaytambo train station. From there, board a comfortable tourist train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying breathtaking views of Andean valleys, dramatic mountain scenery, and the winding Vilcanota River along the route.

 

Upon arrival, our staff will greet you at the station and escort you to the bus terminal. A 30-minute shuttle bus ride takes you up to the magnificent citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You will then enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours, led by a professional guide who will share insightful explanations about the site’s history, architecture, and cultural importance while you explore its most iconic areas.

 

Following the visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes to have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in The Sacred Valley, concluding a memorable and enriching full-day experience.

Day 8: Sacred Valley – Cusco walking tour 

Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, you will receive a warm welcome, assistance, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the morning is free to rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

 

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin a guided walking tour. Our first stop will be San Pedro Market, one of the most traditional and vibrant markets in Cusco. Here, your guide will explain the daily life of local residents while you observe Cusco’s rich gastronomy, a wide variety of fruits brought from nearby valleys, medicinal plants, and beautiful local handicrafts.

We will then continue to San Francisco Square, where you will learn about the region’s native trees. Next, we will walk along Garcilaso Street to visit a local chocolate workshop and discover the process behind Cusco’s high-quality cacao, which is exported internationally.

 

Afterwards, we will head to Cusco’s Main Square (Plaza de Armas), where your guide will share the fascinating history of the city from ancient times to the present day. We will then visit the famous Twelve-Angle Stone, located within an Inca palace, an outstanding example of Inca stonework.

 

Finally, we will ascend to the renowned San Blas artisan neighborhood, known for its workshops, art studios, and picturesque streets. After exploring the area, we will return to your hotel.
