ITINERARY

We will begin our adventure at 4:30 AM with the pickup of our passengers from their respective hotels. Once the entire group is gathered by 5:00 AM, we’ll set off in our tourist transport and start our journey through various districts of Cusco.

Our first stop will be in Cusipata, where we’ll enjoy a local breakfast, featuring a delicious and nutritious bread made by the locals.

Next, we’ll head to a scenic viewpoint to admire the beautiful lagoons in the region. We’ll have time to take photos and observe the native Andean birds that live near these stunning lagoons.

Continuing our tour, we’ll pass through the district of Yanaoca, where we’ll have the opportunity to interact with local residents and learn about their customs and traditions.

After that, we’ll travel for about another hour to reach the district of Q’ewe, home to the famous Inca bridge Q’eswachaka, which is made from plant-based fiber and spans 28.67 meters. Remarkably, the bridge is reconstructed every June by four local communities, using traditional techniques passed down for generations. Here, we’ll have time to explore Q’eswachaka and the surrounding area while our guide shares the fascinating history of this unique piece of Incan engineering.

After visiting Q’eswachaka, we’ll return to Combapata to enjoy a well-deserved lunch, and then head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM.

GARETH – QESWACHAKA INCA BRIDGE REVIEW

“We saw this bridge on a National Geographic documentary and really wanted to visit it after. It certainly lived up to expectations. It was a long drive from Cuzco but we were picked up on time and the journey was comfortable. Our guide was particularly good and very knowledgeable. We were surprised that there were so few people there. The food at lunch was a nice surprise too! Would definitely recommend, particularly this private option as we went at our pace and liked the peace. Into Peru were great”
