Machu Picchu is known world-wide and as a result it can get busy during certain times of the year. As a result, it is particularly advisable to book your tour weeks in advance.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and transferred by private transportation to the Ollantaytambo train station. From there, board a comfortable tourist train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying breathtaking views of Andean valleys, dramatic mountain scenery, and the winding Vilcanota River along the route.

Upon arrival, our staff will greet you at the station and escort you to the bus terminal. A 30-minute shuttle bus ride takes you up to the magnificent citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You will then enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours, led by a professional guide who will share insightful explanations about the site’s history, architecture, and cultural importance while you explore its most iconic areas.

Following the visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes to have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco, concluding a memorable and enriching full-day experience.
